Goedicke’s Custom Framing and Art Supply

Claire & Tyrell Marlow

Claire yearned to be a business owner and fell in love with Goedicke’s Custom Framing and Art Supply, a 58 year old business in Downtown Casper.  Leonard worked with Claire and Tyrell to help them purchase the local art supply and custom framing business.  He assisted the Marlows in assessing the value of the business, with some negotiating strategies for handling an unknown inventory value and helped them understand the bankability of the business as they worked with their lender.  He helped them negotiate a purchase price for less than 60% of the original asking price.

Advanced Truck Sales, LLC

Shantane Strohshein

Leonard assisted Shantane with the valuation and purchase of a controlling interest in the business she owned a 10% interest in.  The valuation helped her with bank financing and for an SBA loan guarantee.  The business consisted of real estate and equipment, with separate financing for vehicle inventory.

Wyoming Business Council

Tom Johnson

Leonard assisted the Wyoming Business Council staff with the valuation of a small utility company’s service territory which was being purchased by a municipality to help expand their infrastructure for economic development capabilities.

Wyoming Art & Frame

Allison Kalpin

After years of hands on training in the framing industry, Allison Kalpin and her husband purchased Wyoming Art & Frame.  She worked with Leonard to help determine a fair market value for the business and negotiate the purchase.  Allison had the ribbon cutting for her new business in March of 2015.  “Thank you, Leonard!  Couldn’t have this without your hard work.” – Allison Kalpin.

Converse County Bank

Hall’s Marina, Inc.

Leonard assisted the Converse County Bank and the bank’s borrower with the business valuation on the operating assets of Hall’s Marina located near Glendo, Wyoming.  The bank’s lending officer needed a business valuation to assist them with an SBA loan guarantee for the purchase of the business.  The business was purchased and new owners are moving forward with their plans for the property.

Etna Trading Company

Kate Garland

After her husband, Kurt, passed away Kate Garland desired to sell the business, Garland Etc., LLC dba Etna Trading Company, located in Etna, Wyoming just miles from the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.  Based on the Garlands information, Leonard prepared a business valuation for the operating assets and going concern value of the convenience store, post office operations.  He also assisted Kate and her financial advisor with pricing and negotiation strategies.

Yellowstone Animal Hospital

Leonard assisted Jonah Bank of Wyoming and the bank’s customer with the business valuation on the operating assets and going concern value of Yellowstone Animal Hospital, a Wyoming corporation, located in Cheyenne, Wyoming.  The bank needed a fair market business valuation for financing the purchase of the veterinary clinic and to assist their customer with an SBA loan guarantee for the purchase of the business.

Once Upon A Child

Cheryl Pesicka

After retiring from a long career with the federal government, Cheryl Pesicka, was not ready to “retire”. She became interested in a business that her daughter worked for, Once Upon a Child of Casper, located on CY Avenue.  The seller wanted to sell her business and move on.  Leonard assisted Cheryl with a financial analysis of the operations of the business, helped evaluate the franchise and prepared a business valuation for the operating assets and its going concern value.  He helped her understand the value of the business and assisted her with negotiation strategies for the purchase.  She is excited about her new business venture.
